Have you ever,
Watched a man die?
Out in a parking lot,
In the summer heat.
Knowing there was nothing you could do.
Would you have the courage to meet the man's wife,
An hour later?
A sweet little wife,
Who's wonderful life,
Turned upside down in a matter of seconds.
Can you imagine her pain,
As she went with his dead body,
Which seemed to be withering away,
In the ambulance,
As they speed to the hospital.
Can you imagine how she felt,
When she learned she wasnt even there to be by his side,
As he died.
How they never even became old together,
How they never had a child.
Their love was so new,
Ending so quickly.
