brought tomb, secrets contained,
brought life, but death remains.
It's seemingly eternal stains-
who's to blame?
Sick in heart, death refrains,
happy at last, life fortune wanes.
It messes with your brains-
at whose gain?
Author notes
2nd entry
Death seems to lurk everywhere. Either a family member dies, or a friend, a pet, neighbor, trees, et cetera. I've seen that when a person dies everything that they work hard for is left behind, including family. What is the point of wasting life on pursuits that only a handful of people achieve?

This was an interesting piece. I don't quite agree with the prompt, but you convey the the message really well.
