Dedicated to all rain dancers!
Lilly Brolly loved to dance,
Even in the rain,
It was as if she were in a trance,
When she went out to dance again!
Lilly loved to ballet,
In perfect pirouette,
Even on a rainy day,
Lilly was a sure bet!
Lilly could dance with brolly in hand,
To the music of a band,
A band playing in her head,
Who got her out of bed!
Brightening up another grey morn,
Lilly was out there again,
Rain would not see her forlorn,
Because Lilly loved the rain!
Lilly danced a fantasy enacted out in life,
Her mind in another galaxy,
Away from all the strife,
Soon to be a lovely wife!
She danced into the arms of her fiance,
Delighted and thrilled was he,
To know that he had the heart of Lilly,
Who could dance in the rain by the sea!
Lilly had danced into his heart,
How special can you be,
Lilly sure did fit the part,
Of his enchantress you see!
