Christ in definitive plan in dimension and light of Jehovah's Word
His goal in "today and tomorrow" the "third day" and "next day"
In heavenly completion healing people driving out demons in swines
In pursuit of greater glory surrendering to His Father's will
Herod's power threatening the plan in drama and oppression
Using only deviant puppets from the Abyss to thwart God's goal
Herod's sickness and crisis handing Him over to death the beast killed Him
Standing in the shadow of the stake in blessed immunity and victory
Strenghtened by His power and shielded by His protection
"Dwelling in the shelter of the Most High resting in the Almighty"
God given power uninterrupted grace in tribulation and threats
Living and breathing Plan God in faith and tender heartbeat

Some Pharisees came to Jesus to deliver a warning that Herod wanted to kill Him. They were so insincere and regardless of the motive for their warning. Jesus said "Go tell that fox i will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow and on third day I will reach my goal". Nothing is unsteady about God's definitive plan. Jehovah executes according to His will. These segments of time can be applied in our lives as well through heavenly completion. Christ said to Herod that nothing could turn Him from His goal. Neither Herod nor any other power posed a threat to the plan. They were puppets to fulfill it. When we live our files according to God's will no Herod in the Herod thwart our efforts at reaching God's goal. Shelter from all evil give power to witnesses "..if anyone tries to harm them fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies.. when they have finished their testimony the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them and overpower and kill them" (Rev. 11, 3, 5, 7). The witnesses get their power from God (v. 3). When they are opposed God dramatically defends them (v. 5). When they have finished their testimony the beast kills them (v. 7) When we live under the umbrella of God's authority and seek to obey His commands, the enemy may oppose us and even oppress us but he can't thwart the fulfillment of God's plan for our lives. Any permission he receives to oppose us will be issued only for the greater victory of God. Death can't come to the obedient children of God until they have finished their testimony.
When we surrender our wills to the will of our Father, we find a place of blessed immunity and you will reach your goal!! Psalm 91 is like a down comforter from heaven similar to "..i have longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings" (Luke 13: 34) In place of safety or immunity from evil onslaughs exist for those who choose to dwell there. Jesus tells us we abide or remain in Him and His love through obedience (John 15: 10). It is the key to immunity from the devil (John 6: 38). Because Jesus was entirely surrender to the will of His Father AHerods threat had no power over Him. The rulers and the chief priest could be used only as puppets by God in His pursuit of greater glory 
We are not immune fom trouble or tribulation but they wont be able to defeat us. We possess and practice the God-given power to overcome them and God's plan never fail!! Have complete assurance in your salvation. You forfeit the shelter of Christ's wings the result is desolation and defeat perhaps death. We stand in the shadow of His Cross. Close to His side He lavishes us with His possessive and protective Love from many many unnecessary harms. This is the secret place. Jah God's Plan never fail.
