It's good that I have no depth,
or I might see you
for what you clearly are.
Your fingers constantly flicker
over your applied skin
seeking minute flaws
to peck at.
I am too flimsy
of a being,
too inexperienced
for your liking;
windy in
my apathy.
Feelings become negligible
when they can't
even break
the skin.

This was so easy to relate too, I often feel like this inside and so I end up becoming too cynical and sarcastic about it.

This was good. Best of luck!

That ending was perfect...while the entire piece was gold.
Loved it.

Love the feeling this gives of the indecisiveness of youth or in the making up of your mind. Even if you know it wouldn't work, we still try.
