Three excellent full sized haiku chuckles. I liked the middle hiaku the most. The humor there was top notch and the imagery was spot. That kid was me many monns ago!

HAHA. I could never master HAiku! You are very humorous and astute! Your quips in this form delighted me. Hope Susie does well in school. I would flunk Haiku 606! LOL Best wishes my friend. Brought back old memories of high-school and passing all of my AP classes! Still chucking! "Sweating cause your cheat notes are fading or vice versa!" I once used disappearing ink by mistake! LOL

All the antics of the kids, captured in your haikus! Yes, that is how class will start for me-although I have considered breaking a board or two with a roundhouse kick to get their attention to start the day. LOL Oh, I like the cheat notes ones, they do show up like faded tattos on their arms and clothes, when they wipe their hands somewhere and wonder what happened! And they had better study, those little darlings, just because I will come to adore them as my students and want them to do what is best for their lives. Nothing makes me happier, than to see an old student and they tell me what college they are going to, what scholarships they have won, and that they remember my class. Thank you my dear for your glorious haikus, they made me smile today.

Thanks Susie......I always wanted to be an Instructor.....I went back to school when I was 31...both of my kids were one & two years old....and as a single father, it was a trip!

Get out of class at 5 pm.....pick up kids from campus daycare.... run through Mc Donalds for Happy Meals....race home, change diapers....feed kids....clean up kids.....entertain kids......bathe kids.....get kids to sleep.......clean house.......open books.....do homework....fall asleep on couch.....wake up at midnight from one of them crying.....stay awake till 2 am.....get up at 5 am......get kids up....feed them....wipe up messes....spray for ants from fallen grahm crackers....dress them......change them again before packing them in car.....get diaper bag together.....forget desitin on sink in bathroom.....race through traffic to get to 8 am class....drop them off at campus daycare....run alllll the way across campus to class......get called back to daycare because one son is sick and threw up.....and now he can't be around other kids for 24 hours......take him to back-up babysitter......she's not happy, because she's not expecting him......race back to campus......get notes on board 5 minutes before class is finished.....get call from back-up babysitter.....son is running fever....leave campus...race through traffic to go get son......try to get doctors appt...have to go through emergency room.....wait 4 hours to see doctor, because it's ONLY a slight fever and can wait.....take sick son to Mc Donalds for ME to eat......go to house and try to put son down for 2 hours......wonder what I'm missing at school.....watch Oprah when she was on at 3 pm......pack up sick son.....smell sick son's diarrhea all the way to school....pick other boy up ay daycare......run with stroller all over campus with one son on hip to every classroom to try and get studyguides from instructors....half are gone for the day......cross a 1/2 miles of campus back to parking lot.....stuff kids back in car......son is getting rash from diarrhea....listen to him scream allllll the way home through bumper-to-bumper traffic in southern california.....get home.....throw him in bathtub to wash him off....his screams make me go deaf.....the other boy is into the video tapes.....now tape is all over the front room floor....the kitchen floor.....around the legs of the kitchen table....and back into his room......finally get sick son in bed with bottle of juice.....take his temperature....it's normal.....sit down on bed.....two year old son climbs up with me.....we both fall asleep.....wake up at midnight......try to do some homework......fall asleep on couch....get up at 5 am.....and pray for a better day!

Ironically, I would not change it for anything ~

        I remember

Those long days as an adult student, I got dizzy thinking of it again! I am very understanding with my adult college class, because I know kids get sick and break arms, and all kinds of things. But it is fun to teach them, I get a captive audience for 3 hours to blab at- Nah, I don't lecture all the time, but it is a nice break from 11-12 year olds in the daytime. It keeps me out of trouble.
