The Pain He Causes

its sad when I know what I cant have,
but yet I sit there with tears in my eyes,
begging and wishing that it were a different fate,
no matter the number of times I would try and try.
The realization only hit me because of what you said,
that i was destined to a fate alone...
and even though you said that you were kidding,
i find myself despretly clinging to my phone.
i want you to be in my life so much,
it is so much in fact that it hurts,
and telling myself that i cannot have what i want most,
feels like i have been only slightly curt.
i cry tears to this second because i know,
that even though i love you with all i see,
you have found the one you want most,
even though this girl is not me.

this is kind of love... with a little bit of hate... ummm... its not really unrequitted love, since he does show love back, but its just that he loves this other girl more.
