The sky is vibrant with hues,
streaks of pink and green,
behind a backdrop of blue.
Your eyes are clear,
the look in them is tame,
your soul is the same.
Time is slipping endlessly,
spaces far between,
yet the heart won't let you get away.
Broken to the conformity,
this isn't the best,
but it's right.
Air is thick,
the water is sucked elsewhere,
sky here is black and cloudy.
The lakes run like smoke,
billowing into the ground,
shallow and frank.
Breaking the barriers,
your smile it takes long off,
breathes are taken deeply.
The words are silent,
the thoughts are quaint,
falling asleep in the dark.
The light is restored,
diamonds twinkle under the skin,
sparkling and clean.
Alone, you brighten up my day.
