Today I experienced a longing thirst
Or it may be termed as an unending quest
What is life?
When is the actual strife?
When, sudden death
snatches away life’s streams
Who dare to to question the authority?
When it is just an ultimate reality indeed?
Neither , a heart nor a mind or a soul
Can dare to stand against the event!
What all, the stars foretold earlier
Smile standing as a true testimony!!!!
The hands of icy GOD, use just
a play button to switch the lights off of a life
in a fraction of seconds, only in tune with the chart prepared.

Very strong imagery of the quicksilver way a life ends, leaving us thirsting for just one more taste, one more moment...To us who remain, it seems the flick of a switch, but to God it is the "play button" for the next part of the total song of life. And may the thirst you feel now be quenched in God's good time.
Lovely write, my friend. Best wishes in the contest. Peace, Rhonda
