I filled a balloon with helium
Hoping that when I let it go,
It will float up to where you are
And it will send my message to you.

When the bullies got too much.
I remember the kitchen
Where we made scrabbled eggs
And I would eat them in the living room with the TV on,
You always knew more than most

And to thank you for the memories that you gave me,

This poem is to remember my Grandmother (nanny) it is her birthday today. She has been gone for nearly 11 years and I still miss her, she was the best and I have some wonderful memories of her,she never gave up on me when some would of. I love her and I always will no matter how long she has or will be gone. Happy Birthday Nanny love Penny
