When the dawn awakes,
And the Sun is neigh,
There's always something dark,
Up there in the sky,
And we all know the dark,
Isn't what it seems,
It's full of fascination,
Memories and dreams.
In a far off universe,
Way in outer space,
There's a very special dream,
That's hard to replace.
Germaine Furbein is the name,
That is going around,
Is it so she'll be president?
Or royally crowned?
"We hope so!" They all cheer,
But that's not the real reason,
"Forever Night it open!
To the public, all season!"
With a whoop and a cheer,
Crowds run and riots form,
"I'll be the first to enter!"
"I'll be the first to preform!"
Then all the locals gather,
Into Forever Night,
But don't think that's it's dull,
For the atmosphere is bright.
So next time you are staring,
Right up at the sun,
Before you think "My eyes are burning!"
Think "Boy.. they're having fun..."
At night, go to your window,
And catch a falling star,
And wish you're in Forever Night,
In that universe so far.
Because we will be watching,
From every star in space,
Waiting to welcome you,
To our wonderful, friendly place.
