Held by an Angel

drums played new rhythm's pause,
she laid her head
on a full measure of rest;
his heart beat soundly

wing fluttered breath-
feathery dreams ringing;
he sang her

airborne

    i've been reading a lot of music themed poems lately, but they are hardly ever original. this is original though. the opening imagery was perfect.

    Thank you for your entry

    Hmm, I get the imagery of a woman and a man, perhaps two laying down together and she lays her head on his chest and he is singing to her. I like it. Romantic in a way but spiritual at the same time. Thank you for sharing.

    I encourage you to keep writing to read and comment.

    God Bless
    Tammy
