Looking up for the moment, but the moment passed, I'm upside-down, barefoot on shards of glass.
Blank white below me, above is trees and grass.
People running, terrified, who is this ignorance that didn't die? Who missed the mark, preoccupied, lived on halfway who should have died? Who second guessed, with straining thought, who should have passed, instead who fought? Who fought or failed, who naught but paled when saw his error and derailed.
He is me, said he, you see? Regret took over and foiled me. I stand or fly on basic thought, for if I stop I shall be caught, and if I'm caught, I'll start to fall, not down, but up away from all. Goodbye now friends, I shall be looking for a door to heaven's booking.
