I don't claim to be the expert on haiku. In fact, I'm otherwise ignorant when it comes to the way it's suppose to be written. I feel it should only truly be attempted, when you understand exactly what is meant to make a haiku.

This is a contemporary style haiku. A 5/7/5 line scheme. Two observations. A motion in time.

It is nicely written. A soft moment.

Thank you for entering. Good Luck.

Is this some type of haiku?

Anyway, it's simple, it has a lot of imagery in it. Impressive. Good luck in the 'laundry day' contest!
