Behind the dripping darkness
Light plays the game of hide & seek
Heart sitting numb shackled cries to break free
Hope flutters its wings wide reaching for skies
Another day is gone by waiting
Shadows follow diligently trailing behind
Mind bathes in rain of logics
Soul calls our name with open arms
Eyes blinded with night seek for the light
Broken heart once scuba dives into ocean of dimness
Panting for breath of fresh air
Around it swirls hopeful life
Only if we remove the shades from our eyes
We can see the sunlight
With one more knock at the door
Open your heart to the world
Once again you shall find your smile
One more chance you’ll get to be free
Another chance you’ll get to live
Only if you take another chance to love again
This time only not to fall in love but to rise above
…Past may leave scars but only to remind us
We have come far along into the present
…Present shows us what we hold in our hands
The future unknown that life shall unfold
But only if we love to live our today.
…Every day is a gift, precious and priceless
Time comes to steal it away
But leaves behind a bagful of memories
That makes us cry to know the price of a smile
