Once upon midnight summer's afternoon
My gaze was floating upon the waves as they crashed into the shore
Diamonds sparkling under the midnight sun
I drank in the beauty, and gave my mind away
The silver sand mingled in the crevasses of my callused feet
In a rush of emotion I fell to my knees in euphoric cries
Because for that moment, I was one
I was the sweet ocean breeze, stinging the lips of love
I was the endless valley of sand, dancing seductively within the ocean
I was the absolution of the waves in their tango that commands the shore
As I wrapped my self in the salvation of freedom, my soul came unraveled
My eyes shown bright as i saw the embodiment of heaven
My tongue tasted the gold of the morning, bouncing off the sea
I was consumed in the summer, dwindling away my time in the vast Ara of ocean beauty.
