Just A Memory

She lays down
Eyes closing gently
As a tear grazes
Her soft black eyelashes
Smiling to herself
Resting her arm
As her finger
Lightly grazes her pale
Soft skin
Just above her belly button
Thinking of the last time
He kissed her lips
Like air above a butterfly's wings
As his hand glides across her neck
Through her soft blond hair
His arm then falls
His fingers sliding through hers
He turns
As this is goodbye
Goodbye for now
His hand parting away from hers
She holds the tears back
As he proudly walks on
She opens her eyes
As a tear skates down
Her face slowly
Quietly
Reliving her memories.

this was sad...to love someone so much and not know what he/she is facing over there, not being there to comfort him is terrible...

    great poem, though
