Forest Sunlight

The early morning sunlight
Warming up the earth while
Squeezing through the trees
Brings to us a gentle smile

Drying up the dew
From the early morn
Resting on the branch
A new Butterfly just born

It spreads deeper into the woods
Waking up the animals there
It's the start of a brand new day
So many wonders for all to share

Hear the singing of the birds
Smell the flowers oh so sweet
Animals gather at the stream
What a wonderful place to meet

    This is a good description of the pictuer and life itself. I really enjoyed the way you went with this write. I love mornings and I felt like I was right there with the animals. Good job,The Shaker

    What a beautiful take on the picture prompt my friend.While reading you, I actually felt like i was there in that picture.I could hear the birds and smell the fresh air.You put in a lot of wonderful visions into your write and the reader can see this,which takes them into the picture within your written words.I wish you all the best in the contest and many blessings to you.

    It is a lovely write

    A wonderful piece of nature's wonders for the reader to dwell on...might want to try spacing each line one out a bit - there's so much in it to take in.
