Best Of Friends Are Often Unseen

Missing image
She was just a tiny little girl,
with diamonds in her eyes and bouncy little curls.
Visions before her only she did see,
and she would whisper to them and tell them shh come play with me.

When she see'sthe butterfly wearing her little high heal shoes,
dressed in her best yellows and blues.
She speaks to them as only a child could,
and share her new friend with her teddy something a child only would.

Oh the day she saw that little dragon that showed up one day,
she bent down close with such delight upon her face.
She held her little finger up to her lips with love,
and looked all about for this excited her so very much.

The wonders within the child if you watch them at play,
brings such a feeling for love in so many ways.
Their honesty and their imaginations often is so true,
it's something adults as they age lose with the muse.

If only we could hold on to the magic there ,
would it help us learn to love more for we would be so aware.
Could it be we have forgotten how to play,
to keep that magic about us every day.

Oh we didn't lose the magic we have just been taught it's not right your are  no longer a child,
We were taught you are to old to act like that left only with a smile.
But should we dig deep inside and learn once more how to play,
this old world would be a grand place even today.

Let that child out and learn the wealth and health benefits it does carry and its been within you always . Your body so knows what brings it joy and so someone may be watching you may find they get the enjooyment of what they would so love to do but was always afraid to let go.

    Just Beautiful

Oh I loved how in the beginning you referred to the innocense and beauty of a childs imagination and play. Then you brought in wisdom for us adults whom forget how to play and I agree if we did play more this would be a much better place. So much Wisdom. Thank you for your entry and best of luck in the contest.
    Many Blessings

What a great job you did on this one! and you are right, if we all could relearn how to play, how to let that little kid out once in a while, then maybe that would be the saving redemption of this world!

Best of luck in this contest!

    and love
