A milestone in our family,
we’ve gathered everyone.
A time of celebration
we have a first born son!
We searched the family history
since the first crusade.
Junior is the very first
to be born… not made.
We’re not sure who the father is
and Red is staying mum.
Her appetite’s voracious
and we all have succumbed.
Who cares? We have an heir.
The family name will now survive.
The only shadow on our joy
is why’s the rabbit still alive?

The rabbit test was an early pregnancy test. The term “the rabbit died” became a euphemism for being pregnant.
