Do you see the crosses that we have to cling to
Each silhouetted on the hill within our souls
Are you afraid that the nails shall pierce your own hands
Thinking of Christ's own pain
Have you thought yourself worthy to suffer
Oh go within yourselves to examine the self
Now let us reflect
Thoughts of the hammer that pounds the nails inch by inch
Hear the sounds of the lance puncturing His side
Each moment suffering in silence
Have you felt the need to cry
Oh let us pray for our Lord
Let us forget about our own suffering
You know nothing can compare
May we feel the weight of our own cross
Only do not feel discouraged as we all fall
Under the stress of the day
Now let us pray for the Holy Spirit
To give us strength and wisdom
And pray for those lost to the wars of injustice
I have to leave
Now to go within my own self...
