Sometimes I need to escape from this world,
I can't take the pain from this world,
so when I need to escape from this world;
Lord I run to you.
With you I'm safe from all harm,
you're my shelter from the storms,
life can't bring me down when I'm in your arms.
Lord I need the tears to be wiped away,
please look beyond my mistakes,
and see my pain.

i used to feel that way - i no longer do - i feel like there is no where for me to run - keep your faith close to you - do not let it slip away cuz once it's gone - all that remains is the pain
