Dedicated to all dragon lovers!
A sweet little girl the image of Shirley Temple,
Made a lovely new friend in a dragon called Semple..
Semple was from a magical land of old but lost his way,
And so he appeared to is earthly friend one day!
Shirley was fascinated by her new little friend so was her bunny,
Bunny went everywhere with Shirley he really was her honey!
The trio used to meet deep in the woods in a place within the trees,
It was nice and cool in there which cooled the dragons breath in the breeze!
One day the dragon brought a sister to play in the secret meeting place,
Shirley thought this was jolly fine in fact she thought it was ace!
Shirley was a beautiful girl with lovely curly hair,
Her little friends the dragons when it rained use to act as her hairdryer!
The ambiance of their magical realm was beautiful in every way,
Amongst the flowers and the butterflies and where you'd want to stay!
This was in the wooded spot at the bottom of Shirley's garden you know!
Such a secret little meeting place where only Shirley used to go!
Apart from a flower fairy in the trees above, who always watched over,
And Knew of the secret meetings, her name was Lady Jasmine of Clover!
Their secret rendezvous place was such a magical place to be,
For it was just a dream which Shirley had and only a fantasy!
