Aromatic fragrances touch senses in the heart,
Natures purest children, a family apart.
Gentle petals touched by Mother Natures flair,
Ephemeral, eternal, their beauty without care.
Lavender confusion, orchid petal sighs,
Forget-me-nots remembered in sleepless lullabies.
Laurestines like painted doves in peaceful serenade,
Oleander singing in a hidden forest glade.
Winter drapes its snow white cloak while flowers soundly sleep,
Eventually retreating to let the willow weep.
Rosebuds open gently to greet the morning sun,
Springtime with a cry of joy has only just begun..
