Sweet Dreams

You killed me last night in the deepest of dreams
With that heavy breath you stole from the cemetery,
So it seems.
You darken my days with the shadow
You left deep within me.
It's not too long until tomorrow for you.
For me, it's just another night
To murder me all the way through.
Every part of me you'll knife with your breath
Until you see how close you can pull me to death.
But I love the way you kill me so
It's just another way for me to let everything go.
You dance your dance of death inside
Your home of fear.
And the violence of it all
Drives me to tears.
You collect some more shadows
And breathe them straight
Through my soul.
Until the darkness overtakes me,
& my dream spins out of my control.
.X.
I can't even begin to describe how I truly feel.
And you can't even begin to care.
You know that's the real reason
That you can give me
Such a scare.

the temptation of being pulling into a darkness..where you wanted to lay rest and being oblivious to everything around you..the mix emotions..and the hopelessness are just far greater than anything..taking control and overtaking you...wonderfully written...

    Keep penning!!!
