Your sapphire eyes,
once took me to
wonderland;
rose colored
world.
Summer of sixty-two,
camp...
...the beach...
...the "beehive".
Special, popular,
making love,
on plaid cloth,
in the sand.
Then, you tore
out my soul,
nailed it to
the wall.
My heart felt
like a hockey puck,
slammed against
a light-post.
You blew me a kiss,
she smiled,
turning away,
I let the tears fall.
