Joker Poem 2.

My thoughts are blurred and rapid,
My breathing low and quick
I feel myself begin to smile
As I hear the timer tick

It really is a lovely sound,
So nervous and exciting

After just the first few ticks,

I feel my heart igniting

And here it is! It's coming fast;

Just ten seconds remain

Oh, the joy I'll get, when I teach them that

Their lives were lived in vain

Three... I only wish I knew,

Two... In a world so devoid of hope,

One... Why I'm the only guy

....

Who seems to get the joke.

Fantastic. I loved the part "And here it is! It's coming fast; just ten seconds remain" - excellent use of rhyme here, you really amped up the suspense towards the end. Very cool, intelligent write. Keep it coming, hon! <333
