The scent of your masculinity draws me in;
Holding you close, I want to capture this moment forever

Giving me a kiss in the morning light,
Holding me forever in the dark of night
Two hearts joined in blissful destiny...
Never before did I know,
how loving someone could be;

Such a beautiful, romantic, lovely poem! I don't exactly care for poems that start off with rhyme and then sort of loose it throughout but for some reason I do like it in this poem. Probably because it's so beautiful and beautifully written!! Great write!

What a beautifully romantic read this one is! Written in the stars, I would have to say, that yes, sometimes that is where it is. Both in reality and metamorphically! And well, yes, I can relate to this on levels that words can not explain, though trust me, many times I have tried to say it, and failed miserablly!

The form is the first thing I would speak to. Your use a staccato quick pulsing voice to open the poem. The piping song of joy that rushes out to the day and celebrates the gifts of love. Then it is phrase and response as if the partnering exisits not only without but within and you are twined by love to spirial around the dream in a helix of life force.
The language is simple but forceful, full of an inner strength. The images bring the sense of union and completeness home to the heart of the reader. Beautifully done.
