Praying presupposes a relationship with God.
A person with no prayerful covenant is
Estranged from God but when they call out for mercy and forgiveness God listens and heads their prayer
The prayer of the upright is his delight.
no dismay or distress not hanging onto anger or bitterness
Responible prayer is of faithfulness
frequency
and fervency
Consitent prayer should be first choice and not last chance or after all else has failed.
God always answers prayer
some answers are direct
immediatly response
some answers are delayed
sometimes people are selfish in their prayer do not see whole picture
some are denied what is being asking isn't good for or would ruin the person
"knock and you shall receive
suggests obstacles barriers or hinderences
prayer is heavenly agonized not humanly organized
a strong relationship with God means a powerful prayer life.

I am unsure if I live up to this but when I hear words of wisdom I need to write it and share it.

excellent words of wisdom
We had to contend with the wrath of Gustav last week, and some of my neighbors are still trying to recover. Lord, I pray right now for all those that find themselves in the middle of one of these storms. May God give us the strength to carry on. In Jesus' name I humble pray...Amen.

WOW a great job of showing that our link to God is through prayer. It is how we talk to Him and how we reach the throne of God. I loved how you show that we should pray first and not last. We should pray without ceasing and with out fail. You are perfectly write that a strong prayer life will give us a stronger bond with Him. Is very hard to live up to but gives us hope.

We all find this no unusual
Often a little spark like this turns a lot of heads down - for prayer. It isn't that we didn't think of Him, it is we have been re directed to Him. Liike hint- many miss even this. Be glad one catches the hint. How many see the flowers an beauty of the day and say thank-you. We are human. We do love Him...mac
