Her wings became real
There is no mistaking
An angel on earth
We said she’d be
But now in Heaven
Her spirit flies free
We turn to God
Praying for peace
As from our grief
We beg for release
My little earth angel
In this life, it’s true
Now is the prettiest
That Heaven ever knew

This was such a beautiful poem. What a lovely little child. A friend of ours had to go through a tragedy much like this once. It's just such a terrible grief. Thoughts and prayers with you.
