The Strange Bishop of Buckingham

There once was a Bishop of Buckingham
Who stood on a bridge near Rockingham
he liked his potatoes
and even tomatoes
"But no slices please,  I like  sucking 'em."

    Nice little suprise ending.

I hear tomatoes where once called love apples. Perhaps your description is the best way of consummation. Sounds slurpy.  Because it's a limerick the conntation is obscene even if the poem was not intended to be. Well at least that's my take. Thanks for the grins. Return the favor?

Hard to picture a bishop in his royal garb all fancied up for Sunday, standing in the cathedral kitchen sucking on a potato. Hard to picture, but not imposible! Thanks for the dandy visuals!
