Will You Please?

At precisely
sixty-two past eight
we had a date.

We'd meet at a popular
dinning place on the beach,

Little did I know then,
the wonderland
I was about to reside in-

You had planned a special night-
a heart shapped box of chocolates,
a single long stemmed rose,

Your sapphire eyes dancing
as you pulled out the ring,
and said,

      "Will you please be mine?"

Wow this is where land of dreams are made of the use of your word bank is wonderful. It full of hope and desire for a happy future.I thank you for keeping up with some of my poems. I have been so tired lately. I did not realize how being a widow and losing a brother and two friends in the past year has been hard on me. I miss you and ap and hopefully can bounce back to read such wonderful poems. It keep the hope alive. Great work.
