Amid his intoxicated anger,
like an ebony volcanic haze - erupted;
insanity strikes, trust disolves.
Quaking, as an army of strewn deluge
spirals, smothering my silhouette.
Uniform flames electricity, sparks.
Everything emotionally swirling;
I beg him to pause, be silent,
Whilst my engorged tender form
throbs,
pounding,
spouting evidence.

No person should experience the wrath of anothers anger... all of us are equal in this world. To use power of strength and violence over another merely shows a weakness and inability to communicate with other beings as is needed. Help is needed for the person demonstrating such rage as much as the person being violated. No abused person should feel wrong about seeking assistance to get out of such a situation....sadly many don't ask when they can, and pay the next time with theirs or anothers life, bringing further pain to those around them and leaving more scars on those who would have been saved from such. If you are in this situation or know someone who is ...for the sake of all, please...please get help quickly! You will be surprised how much help there is and how many people will understand and in reality be thankful you are safe....I know, I'm lucky, I survived and so did my children; you can too!

very strong piece, i didn't at first realize it was about abuse.
but once i did i had to reread.
it is a cycle of hate and anger, and that is why i don't think abuse will ever end.
at least not between loved ones.
you can't love right, if you only know how to hurt.
great write, i touched me where it counts.

intoxication - i know it well, it is the world i live in. a good strong poem here and i agree we are all equal though when under the haze we tend to think otherwise, inferiority or superiority complexes come in to play and wild waves roll over us.

WOW..i was in an abusive situation also..it is a literal hell on earth..most importantly we survived...and you are right..others can too..we are living testaments of this..thank you for sharing such an important write as this..i love you my sissy...no wonder we were brought together..blessings..namaste..
