'The Rose'

Had to put some words to this border inspired by Jeannie D who creates some awesome borders. Thank you my 'Border Queen'

Beautiful description to this Black Rose Border.
"Radiance Grandeur"--Beautiful use of those two words as an opening and closing.
    Well Done!

Your tributes to special flowers are exquisite. I can tell how you like them! The metaphor is lovely. The line fourth to the end I think you mean mourning not morning?
    Excellent write!

I think that sometimes repetition with little twists makes for some fine poetry at times. Like now. smile
