Every now and again I feel the familiar pang of longing,
That one that reminds me of what we once shared.
The reoccuring thoughts of "What did I do wrong, how did I mess up what was perfect"
Ring through my head again, but you send them away, like always.
I see your smiling eyes, deep and dark pools of emotion,
And your voice chases away my dark thoughts.
"It'll all be okay in the end," you said,
"If it's not okay, it's not the end."
Paradise, my paradise,
I hug your words around me like a protective cloak even now,
You helped me through my darkest times, and you seem to continue that still.
Paradise, being found in your arms, even in a dream world,
Paradise, knowing you were there for me,
Paradise, living knowing you are safe
And I am okay too.
Paradise,
Knowing that my sun sets on a better day,
Ever since my dream.
