Lyric Of Time

Missing image
In this vision quest,
May your mind forever sparkle like a star,
You heart remain pure as new fallen snow,
And your spirit forever sense the wonderment
of a child,
Touch those realms in a circle
where a breath keeps magic alive,
And enchantment remembers,
Waiting for the bridge that completes
those summerlands
immortal in a heart.
Listen for the lyric of time
blessed in a legend,
Mediations met
in rituals,
Discover the joy held in simplicity
and the voice of laughter
revived in passion.

Very well articulated. The message is very clear, yet mysterious at the same time and requires one to understand and interpret your VERY excellent use of symbolism and imagery. Bravo!!

I once lived the life of an Indian in a previous life and this is where your poem took me, back to the time to the circles where important matters were discussed, meditations took us back to our ancestors, the chanting, dancing, the spirits around us. What a magical time that would've been. I just wish I could remember more of it. I know I was a twin and my mother switched me with another baby who had been born dead, therefor saving me from being killed as that was the custom. two Brothers grew up not knowing they were from the same Mother, eventually they did find out and went off together with their wives and children. I actually met my twin brother back in the nineties, it was amazing the way our minds were linked, but he wasn't a believer so I never got up the courage to tell him, he has since moved away but it's an experience I wouldn't have missed. I am rambling I know Bill and should be commenting on your poem which I was absolutely enthralled with. You are a very spiritual soul Bill and you have a rare gift of drawing your reader into your poem.
