Beyond the Darkness

Missing image
Does not love
seek those who
do not expect it ?
met only by beautiful strangers
who pass each other
beyond the darkness,

Eyes meet with a greeting
talking without words affecting
nevermore the same,

Desires touch
completing those circles
within a rage beyond a memory
fulfilling a dream
wherein only...
the shadow meets the light,

Hearts attune for all of time,
Each complimenting the other so fine,
Racing thoughts...
Breathless sighs,
Fire igniting both the eyes,

And there are those
who wait...
for the courage
just to say hello.

what a great topic, and well written to. sometimes its comforting to just feel that emotion for just a moment, without taking the next step to say anything, just letting it pass by. I was recently in Salem Mass., thinking to myself about all the poser witches that must be there, and wondering if i could actually pick out wich were real or not, when i had a moment like that in a coffee shop. i let it go as quick as it came on, and it felt good to feel those dark searing eyes on me as i walked out.

Dear Bill, a great collaboration between you and Maxine so long ago. I am enjoying reading your old poems.
It's strange when you meet someone and your eyes meet and instantly there there is recognition as though you've both known each other before. But some are too shy to say anything and pass by without a word spoken, but that person touched your life and left an impression and a touch of regret forever to linger in your heart.
    Wonderfully written.
    Love Joan
