Searching for her shadow
upon the lost souls
of darkness and bitter goodbyes
She bleeds internally
for a second chance at life
but dwells on the cold distance
she calls home
Parched with embedded broidery
bleached upon her blackened lips
asking for salvation through the night
Bubbles forming at her lips
the words slipping out as if
greased from her tongue
She struggles hard to dwindle
her luminescent chocolate eyes fade
as blood stained skylines evade
Pinpoint pricks of crimson
dance gleefully all around
as she walks the hallways of sadness
As if to see her truest self
one final time before sun full sets
she bleeds her final bloody tears
Goodbye
