Frenzied winds whipping
through ebony waves,
caressing frigid cheeks
like a gentle mother's touch;
My soul lifted up on summer's breath
consecrated to heavens evermore;
cessation of earthly suffering
brings closure unto empty hearts.
Diamonds fall from heavy skies,
sorrowful tears for the forgotten;
thunder proclaims lonely lamentations
to an oblivious world, in foreign tongues.
Time has claimed the soul so rightfully hers,
and scarlet tides wash upon forsaken shores;
sand swallowing screams as storms rage
upon Sahara's lips, where blood turns to dust.
