Well, I heard it’s your birthday
I hope it’s real grand
go play with the young ones
building castles in sand
or maybe go fishing
with good bait on your hook
and cook up that great catch
while the children all look;
or maybe you’re wanting
some peace, alone time
if so walk in forests
enjoying nature, sublime
or sit in the backyard
holding loved ones real tight
make the most of your day
clear into the night.

I love the rhymes!!!
Maybe I am just old fashioned...or it could be that I am just plain OLD! But time and again I can really enjoy a great rhyming poetic verse. Thanks for sharing!
