The peace of the world
Is defined by
"What have you done for me lately?"
A question we ask the world
Betting our happiness on the answer
The peace of My God
Is defined by
A greater calm
A deeper tranquility
And a gentle assurance as subtle as the underside of the ocean
The peace of the world
is the feeling inside
as dictated by the world around you
The peace of My God
Is joy
And it is something the world cannot touch
Respect is asked for, given and understood... :)

Yes this is a beautiful poem and thank you for sending me here not only for On.Fire.4.Christ but for me personally as well. I'm sure she will find much peace and tranquility that does come only from the Lord. This is just what I needed to read right now and I will send this to her. next to the last stanza, i think you forgot [the] before world. fantastic write, I loved it, and it's so true, the diff. between how the world views things and how God views things. PL
