Stayed up all night because
I missed the setting sun
Through the haze of tears
To find where love began
To fade and to falter
You know that you
Have never needed a hero
You sail too high
Like a lost angel’s echo
Sighing in the wind
Last night I saw a bitter star
Fall from your eyes
Leaving another scar
Tracing paths of fate
With no promises
To chase the pain away
Can’t you see all mirrors
Play the same twisted games
Freezing the little moments
To show your soul’s grief
Framed for all eyes to see
Then the weight comes crushing down
Burying your once bright face
Deep into biting, hardened ground
Humiliation tastes fresh to broken dreams
The ingrained grime feels as dirty as it seems
Last night I saw a bitter star
Fall from your eyes
Leaving another scar
Tracing paths of fate
With no promises
To chase the pain away
And I can never catch that moment again
Last night I saw a bitter star
Fall from your eyes
Leaving another scar
Tracing paths of fate
With no promises
To chase the pain away
I didn’t think this night would ever end
But as night faded into day
Last night a track of tears
Fell from your eyes
Before they found their fears
I watched them die
With this lover’s kiss
That chased the pain away
We knew there was nothing more to say
A love that will never fail
Nor fade to hopeless grey
The mirrors could not reflect our song
Despite the darkness we never got it wrong
Last night a track of tears
Fell from your eyes
Before they found their fears
I watched them die
With this lover’s kiss
That chased the pain away

Amazing. I could defintely see this becoming a song one day. I was mezmorized by this from be beginning, and I loved your chorus.
However, I do request you put your author's name in your notes. Otherwise I won't know who you are and I'll have to DQ you. Which I really don't want to do.
Please and thank you.

Thank you most kindly.
I'd have to get someone big and famous to sing it though, so through publishing deals I'd get payed bucketloads of money for it.
