My Eyes Are Open

As I sit here in God's beauty
Among stars that twinkle bright
The first rays of the sun
Bring the morning into light

I'll say goodbye to all the stars
As the sun is in full view
All God's beauty has now appeared
It beckons to me and you

Smell the fresh air from the sea
Hear the birds so merrily sing
Trees of green are everywhere
And bees are tuning their sting

Across the bay are mountains
Just waiting to be explored
Edelweiss and other flowers
In  beauty I adore

I think that I'll get started
On my walk along this way
And gather little treasures
Of my experience this day

a wondrous piece of artwork your words paint under God's palatte of natural beauty. Stars and the clear starry nights always give me a sense of peace and tranquility even when I am dealing with so much burdens in my life that i forget them for a while - reviving a lost spirit. thankyou for entering and many blessings always xxx

I sure like to find days when there is poems full of grace and beauty

I believe it make things float along like the clouds.
Sometimes there is a need for more beauty to keep someof us with rough days a float...mac

Wow. This poem paints such a beautiful picture. Everything in nature is working in harmony just shortly after dawn. I would love to be in a place like this in the early morning dawn. Great job!
