Piercing the hearts of many galaxies using E=mc(squared)
a rare fragment shooting like a star then falling with a shimmer
I found you in the dark realm when moonlight danced as your crystal flared
Gem of the sun exposed within a hardened meteorite of chaos & disorder
While orbiting the cosmos scattering your spectrum of prism light
expelling your whirling frenzy Earth abducted a beauty so dynamic
I only dreamed of a resonance repeating gravitational tugs of delight
your verdant vitality scattered across my life of wreaking havoc
With esoteric movements you created a shudder in my atmosphere
The ritual drink of Soma I drank from your carved peridot chalice
An idiochromatic green tonic healing my heart as a harbinger
launching our love into concentric circles plunging far into paradise
The evidence I couldn’t find with any conventional telescope
yet, once your facets were defined our futures were given new hope
Happy Birthday to you Beautiful

Author notes
I call her Beautiful
and as my Storm Goddess, she has inspired me once again.
Peridot is the Gem stone for August it is always green - as I am her Green Man!
It comes from Pallisite meterorites & from lavas and in peridotite xenoliths of the mantle which lavas carry to the surface.

I love you!

Well, well. This has got to be the most personal poem entered into this competition. Such a cosmic feeling of love in this. And beautiful too. Sounds like the best birthday present ever- the words you've written to and for her.
Thank you for your entry and the words for Storm.

How beautiful!
I loved the lines:
'Piercing the hearts of many galaxies using E=mc(squared)
a rare fragment shooting like a star then falling with a shimmer'
I could almost feel that 'passing through air and time' sensation with these words.
The imagery and wordcraft you've woven in this poem is sheer magic! Thank you for sharing and I'd be very surprised if there's not a gold here.

Thank you!
My loving sweet Green Man~
You have touched my heart deeply with your words. I am glad that I can shed light on your life, but remember my dear, you have done more than that for me. Yes, a lifesaver you have been; saving me from the drowning swirls of darkness that enclosed around me. For the first time, in Lord only knows how long, I don't feel slung down, because of you!
I cherish always, your words, thoughts, heart and soul. I love you too!

Good luck in the contest.
