It goes on
What goes on?
That’s an easy question,
And the answer is of course
Life!
No matter what happens
Life always goes on.

Events in a person life
Whether it be a birth of a baby,
A death of a much loved family member
A celebration,
Or a time of mourning
Life it goes on.

Whether a person falls down
And it seems they cannot get up
When they believe all hope is gone
And they think that it is better,
To stop living
To give up on life itself
It still goes one theirs might not.
But the life around them.
It goes on.

People will still get up every morning and go to work
Mothers will still take their children to school in the morning,
Boys will still play football in the play ground
While the girls sit in the sun giggling and gossiping.

And while a person
Who lies where they have fallen
Not believing there is hope,
Or no reason to keep going forward
No one will see them
No one will notice they have fallen.

Why?
It is simple
Life it keeps going on
Through all the pain and joy.
Thought all the trips and falls
It keeps going on.

Some fall harder than others
Some get up and some stay down,
Some give up and some keep trying
But it still goes on.

But whether they get up or give up
They know one certain thing and that is,
Life
It goes on!
