I feel for your sorrow, I've been there myself
and know very well where you're at.
Place the fish on a cracker, garnish with cream
and put it outside for the cat.

Sweet! Love your irony here. I lost some lovely fantail goldfish once. They had names and it broke our hearts, they were so beautiful, found out later it was bad feeder fish. Bad memory. Your poem was actually more fun than that.

Ah, a proper funeral... Nice job, although, I do not usually encourage using the idea in the prompt, this was a good take on it, making it specific to goldfish. There could be a market for this, ALOT of goldfish die every day! Good job,
