i
dont know why
i asked you to come up
here to the cliffs edge
just one more
time
perhaps
it was the
memory of the first time
we broke free from sanity
and we came
here
time
was idyllic
and we felt impulses
move into physical motion
our groping and thrashing
rapidly became
eternity
we
managed to save our lives
grasping limbs in the wind
and pulling nakedness
back over the
edge
there
were many times
thereafter of course
rough dealings of the
exuberance of
youth
you
left me later
grown tired of fantasies
played out on cliff edges
of our youth
eternal
now
we are here again
clothes clawed into shreds
as i drop you to the ground
taking you one last
time
i
always thought
it would be you who lost the grip
but no it is me
i float in a corridor of air
rushing to meet the
rocks
too full of living to die
but
too much in love to live
Author notes
Can love be worth dying for?
Well, tell me about what you think.

Beautiful Crazy Love
I say yes! even if you die inside and your soul lives. Love is rooted in the spirits of two people and when you truely love someone....if they leave you; you die too. I love how insane they were about each other...excellent write...
