Life is grand and mastered by me
I'm vigorous and vital and strong
I build lives out of youthful dreams
Sturdy and unyielding to time
The ways of the old are unmentioned
The ways of the young are behind
Experience has taught me lessons
I learned now I can go on
Forged in the fires of pain
Knowing the grief of loss
New experiences to be had
I'm not new but I'm wise beyond my years
I can run, I can grow, I can help
Imparting knowledge to the untried
I'm sojourning through life on the edge
But I'm prime, grade A through and through.

Fantastic
I love the last line tremendously...I can relate to this piece so well, I am not old by any means, but feel so much older than my years because of life's roadblocks, burnt-bridges, and tramas. Great read and a wonderful write.
