some large and bright
some too small to see
with the naked eye;
all, however, important to the whole picture,
the whole puzzle of life.
Each piece inter-locking
in ways we don’t know,
with effects we don’t know,
complexity to the extreme
yet so simple when all is established
and the mind opens up
to receive the knowledge
sought from the beginning of time.
We should never label something
as insignificant,
when we can’t see the whole picture,
when we don’t know the whole purpose,
when our mind is locked, closed
to the truth.
Will we ever know all?
and if we do,
will we be wise enough
to use that information
in a way that will benefit
all of mankind?
One can only hope.

Oh I like this background it would be really cool if it was on the side and not in the middle but oh yeah it is great

Thanks Starz - yeah, I like this, but need to figure out how to move it....lol....I'll prob. just change it for now.

Thoughtful & intelligent...
Impressive!!!
Profound, thought provoking & so true in your musings of human nature... Humanity is a child race governed by baser instincts like greed, paranoia & territoriality...
Maybe one day we may know it all & find enlightenment, just hope we are mature enough to use wisely and not destroy ourselves with it... Ooh, I'm ranting bout them damn humans again... lol!
Needless to say I love it...
Fantastic write that captivated me throughout...
Well done!!!

Thank you so much 'Fritz...' for your wonderful comment on 'simple complexities' - I am so pleased you liked it.
The longer I live, the less likely I feel that even if we humans did know all the answers - we would still be stupid enough (or greedy enough) to screw it up....sad, sad, sad....
again, thank you.

Congrats on the HM!
An excellent write hun
Love the questions asked, really made me think. There is so much we don't yet know, and some things I'm sure we're better of not knowing...lol. I agree we can only hope, seems we have a tendancy to be hostile towards things we don't understand, heres hoping that changes in time. Wicked piece, congrats on the HM

Thank you kat
- glad you enjoyed 'simple complexities'....yes, I think some things are better remaining a mystery. I don't honestly think we'll like some of what we eventually will find out.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful entry
I read it over and over...and still so agree...wouldn't it be nice if we all just concentrated on our likenesses instead of our differences???
Thanks again!

Who knows the many mysteries that are just beyond our comprehension? I agree...never say something is insignificent...how in the world can we know? This is a thought provoking poem...and I most likely need my thoughts provoked...

Hello.
This is a nice write, and one I think the poet in question will appreciate. It is written well, but more importantly it is along the lines I have seen her express many an interest in. This write also shows a certain humility in yourself which at times is to be commended. I wish you well in the contest, and hope the poet likes what you have written. And I like the title, nothing like an oxymoron, hahaha.
My regards.
