I pound relentlessly
On the walls of this glass tube
That is slowly choking away my life
One hit at a time
Completely unaware
That bad things
Are only the beginnings
Of good things
Still high from the smoke
I am led through
Admissions and processing
At the county jail
Then I realize
That you must die in one form
In order to be reborn
In another

No, it isn't... and I'm so glad.
I love how you made it so hopeful, even if ruefully so.
It's true - we must break down completely in some respects, even allow parts of ourselves to die out or kill certain aspects of our lives, to be able to change and move on towards something better.
I am so proud of you for all you have done. It's been a long, winding and difficult road, and you still have far to go, but you are so strong and you've come so far!!!
Never give up on yourself. Never forget that realization, or the feeling of accomplishing something (like when you got your new job - congrats by the way).
Again, you didn't disappoint with this entry.
Great job and good luck hon!!!
